Santiago “Tito” Orozco has a long and successful career in soccer and futsal, both as a player and as a youth coach in Spain and South Florida.
As a Player
Tito played soccer and futsal in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, representing clubs including UD San Roque–Tahodio, A.D. Duggi–San Fernando, Asesoria Galco F.S., Famegonza F.S. and Pabe Team F.S.
Among his achievements as a player are:
- Champion of the Youth League of Tenerife – 2001/2002.
- Top Scorer of the Youth League of Tenerife – 2002/2003.
- Runner-up of the Youth League of Tenerife – 2002/2003.
- Selected for the Youth Selection of the Canary Islands for the National Championship – 2003/2004.
- Invited to join a selection of the best players from Tenerife – 2007/2008.
- Champion and multiple-time finalist in prestigious summer futsal tournaments in the Canary Islands.
As a Coach
Tito began developing young players in Spain before continuing his coaching career in South Florida.
With the Pías Schools in Tenerife, he achieved multiple league and cup championships between 2008 and 2011, including the National EMDE School Games Championship in Torremolinos, Málaga.
In South Florida, he coached Miami Strike Force U9, U10 and U11 teams from 2016 to 2020, achieving championship and finalist finishes in several major tournaments, including the Naples Spring Shootout, Enigma Cup, Adidas South Florida Supercup, West Pines Kickoff Classic and European Showcase by Figo.
