What Makes Us Different
Soccer and Futsal Development
At Iberian Athletic Club, we believe that playing both soccer and futsal gives young athletes a stronger foundation.
Futsal develops individual technique, quick decision-making, close ball control, creativity, movement, and confidence in tight spaces. These skills can translate directly to the full-size soccer field.
Our soccer and futsal academy in Miami gives children the opportunity to experience both disciplines as part of their development.
Age-Based Player Development
Our programs are designed according to the developmental needs of different age groups:
- Ages 5–7: Introduction to soccer and futsal through fun, movement, coordination, and basic ball skills.
- Ages 8–10: Development of technical skills, coordination, decision-making, teamwork, and game understanding.
- Ages 11–14: Progressive development of advanced technical skills, tactics, physical preparation, confidence, and competitive awareness.
This age-based approach allows our coaches to adapt training to each child’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and athletic development.
Our Own Methodology
Our training methodology combines technical development, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, coordination, decision-making, and sports psychology.
